We Heard it Through the Grapevine (then took it down)

It's sunny here in Port Townsend! We were actually wearing t-shirts yesterday! Jeff and I decided to take advantage of the sun and work on our yard. There was a grapevine that had traveled from an archway in the yard over into the branches of two trees. We think at least one of them is a fruit tree. The other one is strangled. We trimmed the vine and got it out of the trees. Here are some pictures of before/during:

And after we tackled the vine:

It still looks like the top of an old hut/a bog witch, but the trees can breathe again. In the front yard, it appears that some former owners tried to make an archway for the front walk with rebar and wisteria. But the wisteria took the rebar down. In turn, we took the wisteria down, rebar and all. Here are the after pictures:

And, as a bonus, here is a creepy picture of some stuff we found in the yard.

A couple weeks ago it snowed, and then it was cold, but Jeff and my dad managed to do some work on the house upstairs. And hey, we found more wallpaper!

Here are some pictures of all that (plus video of Mac playing in the snow!):
