The House Formerly Known as The Pink House

We did just a few things with the house this weekend. And by we, I mean Jeff. I finally got around to sitting on my butt and watching The Fab Five: Texas Cheerleader Scandal. Anyway, this week we learned a little more about our house. Joyce, a blogger for The Leader and local gem of Port Townsend, used to live in our house and wrote a blog post about it on the Leader website here.

She also links to her personal blog, with more information about her time in the house, and pictures! I loved learning more about it, and I'm excited to see that the house has been continuously evolving, so we're not destroying an un-touched relic of Port Townsend history by making it our own.

The house used to be pink, and they called it "The Pink House" accordingly. I don't know that I can bring myself to take the house back to pink, but the spirit of the pink house remains! I encourage you to click through and enjoy the history of our house that we are so grateful to have access to!
