Weekend of High Glamour

The Pattons had a very glamorous time last weekend, as I was home with the flu and Jeff spent a lot of time under the house digging. We're working on the foundation under part of the house, and it is messy work. Oh, and by "we," again, I mean Jeff and my dad. 

Meanwhile, my mom took some plaster off the walls in the office/library/study/parlor/conservatory. She is a badass! We decided after several days of fruitless wallpaper removal in that room that it was best just to take the walls down and start over. Evidently, it was a good decision, as we discovered the insulation behind the walls on the southern side of the house was damp. Oh, cool.

This guy would be pissed. But he would have expected it.

Even Mac helped out by running around into everyone else's yard and terrorizing them. I don't have any pictures because I was TOO FEEBLE to even lift a camera! Too feeble, y'all. I hear the weather was exquisite, though.
